Racking

Pallet racking: design, supply and installation

Racking designed around your building, your stock and your trucks. We survey the site, draw the layout, supply new or used racking and install it with qualified teams.

The challenge

Your warehouse is only as big as its layout

The wrong racking wastes floor space and forces the wrong trucks. Getting the layout right can mean more pallets stored in the space you already have.

That’s why we start by listening. Tell us what you need, and we’ll tell you honestly what we’d recommend. #JustAsk

What customers say

“We used Yorkshire Handling for all of our racking needs at our new facility at Chesterfield, the job was completed to a very high standard and on time. Have used Yorkshire Handling since for some additions again completed hassle free. They supplied a new Gas Fork Lift Truck for the yard and purchased our old trucks. All round excellent service provided.”

How it works

Three steps to the right equipment.

  1. Step 1: Tell us what you need

Buying, hiring, servicing, racking or training. Pick up the phone or send a quick message. #JustAsk

  2. Step 2: We advise and give you options

We’ll visit your site if it helps, and set out options to suit your operation and your budget, with prices plus VAT.

  3. Step 3: We deliver it and keep it running

Delivered ready to work, with servicing, repairs and parts from the same team afterwards.

Why it matters who you choose

When it goes wrong

  • Paying for space you can’t use
  • Racking that doesn’t suit your trucks
  • A fit-out that drags on and disrupts the business

When it’s done right

More pallets stored on the footprint you already have, and trucks that work with the layout, not against it.

Questions people ask

Can new racking really store more?

Often, yes. Changing the layout and aisle widths can increase storage on the same footprint. On their old site the team put it as “up to 45% more pallets stored on the existing warehouse footprint”, depending on the building.

Do you supply used racking?

Yes, new and used, depending on what suits your budget and the job.
